Graduate in Mathematics from the University of Antioquia, and in Administrative Engineer from the National University of Colombia; Specialist in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes and Master in Administration from the Tecnológico de Monterrey.
She began working in Bancolombia S.A. at the risks department, and later worked at Valores Bancolombia in the Portfolio Management area. In 2006 she resumed functions in the risk area in the position of Manager. In 2016, she was entrusted with the work of the Risk Management of the Foreign Subsidiaries (Bancolombia Panamá, Bancolombia Puerto Rico, Bancolombia Cayman and Bancolombia Sucursal Panamá), work that she carried out until August 2020 when she was appointed General Manager in charge of Bancolombia. She was appointed as General Manager of Bancolombia Puerto Rico in May 2021.
