Was born in 1961. Mrs. Escovar is an economist from Universidad e los Andres. She has worked as head economist for the World Bank resident mission in Colombia and was head of the External Credit Division of the National Planning Department. She also served as Chief of Services for Economic Studies of Banco de la República, Chief of Public National Policy Evaluation System of the National Planning Department and was General Director for FES Leadership Foundation. She also held the position of sub secretary for Education and Sub secretary for Finance of Bogotá D.C. and had previously served as Financial VP for Fiducolombia. During the last 18 years has been linked to Organización Terpel S.A, where she has occupied different positions such as Commercial Vice-president, National Fuels Manager, and Financial and Administrative Manager. Since 2012 she works as its CEO.
