He was born in 1972. He holds an accounting degree from Universidad de Medellín and is a Computer Technician from Politecnico Colombiano. He also holds an Executive MBA and an undergraduate degree in Finance from Universidad de Medellin. Mr. Rodríguez is also certified in risk (CRMA) by IIA – The Institute of Internal Auditors- and is licensed to perform quality assessments (QA).
He has been in the auditing profession for more than 20 years and has been linked to Grupo Bancolombia since 1994, where he has held different positions such as Chief Internal Auditor for Banco Agricola, Bancolombia´s subsidiary in El Salvador, Auditing Director of Business and support areas, investment audit Manager and head of mortgage banking and personal audit.
He has received several distinctions for his work to promote best practices in the exercise of internal auditing, the strengthening of ethics, transparency and the fight against corruption
